Learning this Week:
Math: We will continue to progress through Topic 5 (Division). Students will be solving division problems using the partial quotients method. In groups, we will be focusing on strategies to solve word problems and will be reviewing factors and multiples.
Science: This week we will be wrapping up our science unit on Earthquakes as we move toward Volcanoes. Students will compare the causes and effects of earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanoes.
S.S: Students will be taking notes on their individually assigned U.S. region. We will learn about text features and how they provide us with valuable information while we're reading.
