Learning this Week:
Writing: We will continue identifying text structures in order to understand the author's purpose and main idea of a text. Students will choose a text structure to write their own informational writing piece.
Math: We will begin Topic 9 (Addition/Subtraction of Fractions) as well as continue to reinforce equivalent fractions/comparing fractions.
ELA: Students will hopefully (snow pending!) finish their immigration books. They have been working tremendously hard on their books and I am very excited to start piecing the pages together!
Science/S.S: We will be reading and learning about the rock cycle.
