Learning this Week:
Writing: Students will continue working on narrative writing piece, using paragraphs, dialogue, and details. In addition, we will be doing creative writing from different points of view.
Math: We will continue with geometry, a mix of Topic 15 and 16. Students will be expected to classify triangles and quadrilaterals by their angles and sides.
ELA: Students will continue to work on research for their biography project, while learning about Jackie Robinson. We will work on classifying important information , and possible begin working on posters by the middle of the week.
Science/S.S: Students will be skyping with another class in the U.S. and will try to figure out what their mystery state is based on a series of relevant yes or no questions. If time allows, we will complete a STEM activity.
