Learning this Week:
Writing: Students will be finishing up narrative writing pieces as well as beginning to type up their biography speeches. Today, we will be meeting a published author to talk about the challenges and triumphs of being an author (students can order the book too!) In addition, we will be moving forward with creative writing pieces.
Math: Geometry is finished, so we will be moving on to Topic 13, which is units of measurement. Students will be expected to use and know the metric system as well as the customary system.
ELA: Students will be finishing up biography posters this week. If time allows, we will begin our Book Club unit
S.S./ Sci: Students will be attending the 5th grade play on the American Revolution!
