Learning this Week:
Writing: We will be look at the elements of compare and contrast writing. Students will be writing responses based on two informational articles. We also will have a writing session with Big Ryan! If time allows, we will review and start narrative writing.
Math: We will be wrapping up Topic 9 (Addition/Subtraction of Fractions). We will probably not test until next week. Students are expected to add and subtract on number lines, using equations, and regrouping.
ELA: We will be starting our new unit "Pourquoi Tales." This week, we will discuss the different types of traditional literature and dive into the importance of culture in writing.
Science: We will review the scientific method and conduct an experiment.
